We stayed at this park for the second time because of the location. The staff is very nice, courteous. Clean, immaculate park. Great pull throughs. I was ready for the entry gate this time and had no problem. The reason it does not get a 10 from us is road noise, goat head stickers, and fire ants. My wife got bitten on the foot by fire ants as we entered the dog park . Only two got her before she got free of them, thank goodness. Also the park is way over priced since Wi-Fi is available at an additional charge of $3.00 a day. It should be included at that price.

We have stayed at this park three nights in the past week. It is a very clean and neat park. All of the sites are pull throughs on crushed rock. Patios are concrete. Nice trees at almost every site. The laundry room is very well equipped with up to date machines. The water is run through a water softener prior to washing the clothes. There are permanent residents toward the back of the park. They were very neat and clean sites and most had pretty plants. I got tickled reading a previous post by a lady that had an encounter with the work camper when her dog "watered" a tree. I must have encountered the same work camper because one of my dogs fertilized the grass by one of the empty sites. I picked it up of course. His point was that other canines can smell it and they want to mark their territory there also. I had to agree with him. They have a dog park and areas around the outskirts of the park for the dogs to do their business. The workcamper was very courteous about it and after all I am a guest in this park. The park is in a great location right in the city of Fredericksburg on a city street and not next to a highway. There is very minimal road noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Their receipt says in large letters "No Refunds". Now I know why. We pulled in midday and my wife had requested a shady pull through since the weather was getting warm. The park host was very nice and helpful when we got there. I was taken to a spot that was not a pull through and I was supposed to thread the 33 foot 5th wheel attached to a long bed truck by backing between a building and large tree which required me to go into the yard of a house demolishing a satellite dish. The space was narrow and I am not the world's most accomplished backer upper. Further more my wife gets extremely nervous when I back into tight spaces. Where's the trust? Anyway we were left to fend for ourselves. I was counting on help from the host and he disappeared. I pulled into another spot that was vacant and easier to get into. We immediately noticed the road noise from the highway was intolerable. Running the AC and a noisy fan could not drown out the noise. Within an hour we decided to leave knowing that we would not get a refund. We went to the office to tell them why we were leaving. They were very nice about it and offered other sites, but there are no quiet sites in this RV park. They did not offer a refund and we left our $27 dollars behind to get a good night of rest elsewhere. It was worth it to get out of there. I would not recommend this park to anyone.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and found that the park is much improved. It is cleaner, more well manicured, and looks much better. The office staff get a 10 on helpfulness, friendliness, and professionalism. The pull-throughs are long and wide. There is plenty of room between spaces so as not to feel like sardines. The cable TV is excellent and they are working on getting Wi-Fi. Good shopping and restaurants. Try the Market Street for grocery shopping and deli. Would definitely stay here again. For the pet lovers there is a mobile veterinarian that will come to your site and treat your animals on site. Very reasonable and thorough. Our main reason for coming was the Vet as we have used them before. The down side would be traffic noise on Seymour Highway and sirens from the nearby Ambulance depot at night. Not a deterrent to us, however. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again.

Nice clean park. Landscaped really well. Level pull-throughs. Very quiet. The person at front desk was vvery helpful. Wi-Fi is super fast. No cable but good local stations from Austin. Probably can't find it on your GPS but easy to find following directions. Would have given it a 10 if they had cable TV. Would stay here again.

We stayed in the park for one month while working temporarily in Wichita Falls in September 2006. There is an ambulance depot just down the street. Sirens all hours of the night. We had our fifth wheel broken into, damaged and several items taken. The management was very unconcerned and said it had never happened in eleven years. The camp is on the river in a seedy part of town. The thieves came up from the river and departed the same way. A police report was filed. I would not recommend the site to anyone.
